The link templates dialog is called from the links menu.
Link templates are created using the link properties dialog.
Select a template (it will be highlighted) to specify the appearance of new links that are added to the network and to specify the behavior of apply template in the link context menu.
You can also directly apply a template to all selected links by either using the apply button or double-clicking into corresponding template field.
management
Once a link template is created, it is automatically associated to the current network and will be saved as such, if the user makes use of the .graphml format. This is indicated with a check mark in the local column of the link template dialog. Uncheck, if you do not want to save the template together with the network.
Additionally, a global column check mark allows to save a template as a general template associated to your visone version. By default, visone has just one link template (black solid line, undirected).
presentation
If the display legend field in the lower left corner is checked, utilized templates can be presented in a legend next to the network. That is, only those templates with a check mark in the legend column will be included, together with the labeling in the description field.
direction and confirmation
Additional to the template's visual properties, you can specify whether links should be directed/undirected and receiver/sender/mutually confirmed by default.
